0 Lamb Spaghetti Recipe


Here is Chefs lamb spaghetti bolognese recipe.

This is a very tasty dish that is especially good for people who love spaghetti but not rich tomato sauces and beef.

Chef uses a wonderful combination of vegetables that compliment both the lamb and spaghetti in this delicious lamb spaghetti bolonese recipe.

Ingredients for Chef Jeenas Lamb Spaghetti Recipe
1 Pack Lean Minced Lamb
1 Large Zucchini/Courgette (diced)
2 Peeled Tomatoes
3 Mushrooms (diced)
1/2 Small Leek (diced)
1 Medium Onion (diced)
1/2 Sweet Red Pepper (diced)
2 Medium Carrots (grated)
3-4 Garlic Cloves (grated/minced)
Small Pinch Dried Thyme
Large Pinch Dried Basil
Few Drops Worcester Sauce
Olive Oil
Salt and Black Pepper
Water

Take large pan and gently fry the onions in some olive oil.

Add the minced lamb and chop at it with your spatula.



Add the chopped leeks and minced garlic.



Keep gently browning the mince.

Add all the dried herbs.



Stir in the zucchini/courgette , grated carrots and red pepper.

Stir well.



Add a little water.

The more water you add the more of a loose sauce there will be. Remember that vegetables cook down into a water.

Stir well.



Add the mushrooms and tomatoes.

Stir well.



Cover with a lid on and simmer for 8-10 minutes.



Add salt and black pepper to season.




Once cooked you can eat as it is or thicken with flour and butter.

0 Scotch Broth Recipe

Food Recipe for Scotch Broth


Ingredients for Scotch Broth Recipe
750g - 1kg Stewing Lamb (on the bone)
approx 9 Cups Water
2 Bay Leaves
250g Carrots (diced fine)
2 Onions (diced fine)
2 Leeks (sliced thin)
250g Potatoes (diced fine)
1/4 Cup Pearl Barley
Salt and Pepper
Fresh Chopped Parsley


Getting Started on Scotch Broth Recipe

Trim and remove any excess fat from the meat. Place water and meat in a large pan and bring to the boil.

Remove any scum from the top of the pan. Add the bay leaves and a generous amount of salt and pepper to season. Simmer with the lid on for 1 and 1/2 hours.

Add all the vegetables and the pearl barley to the scotch broth, bring back to a gentle simmer place the lid on, then cook for 1 hour until the barely and vegetables are soft.

Cool the scotch broth slightly they skim off the rest of the fat from the surface. You can place kitchen towel on the surface also to absorb all of the fat.

Take the lamb off the bone and return the lamb meat to the pan.

Serve scotch broth in a bowl and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.

Recipe for French Onion Soup

The key to cooking the most perfect tasting french onion soup is to cook the onions slowly and gently. This allows the natural sugars in the onions to caramelize which gives French onion soup is characteristic colour and flavour.

Ingredients for French Onion Soup
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Oil
500g Onions (sliced thin)
1-2 Garlic Cloves (crushed/minced)
1 Litre or 4 Cups Beef or Vegetable Stock
2 Bay Leaves
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
Pinch Ground All Spice
8 Slices French Bread (thin sliced)
Salt and Pepper
1/2 Cup Emmental or Cheddar Cheese (grated)
Fresh Parsely (optional)


Getting Started on French Onion Soup Recipe

Warm the butter and oil in a pan. Add the onions and garlic and gently fry for 10-15 minutes.

Heat the pan up more and continue to cook the onions until the onions become golden brown and caramelized. Stir the French onion soup often.

Add the bay leaves , vinegar, sugar , salt , pepper and all spice. Add the stock to the French onion soup and bring to the boil. Simmer with the lid on for 30 minutes.

Discard the bay leaves from the soup and check seasoning.

Toast your french bread pieces and melt the cheese onto the toast.

Serve the finished French onion soup in a bowl and place the cheese toast on top of the soup. You can sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

1/2 Lemon or Lime Rind

Toast the bread on either side until golden. Spread each slice with butter.

In a bowl mix the crab meat ,mayonnaise and salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the first slice of toast with 2 lettuce leaves , half the crab meat mayonnaise then the tomato slices.

Cover with the second slice of toast then add the remaining crabmeat and cucumber slices.

1 Tin Medium Red salmon cooked steamed salmon
1 Onion (sliced)
2 Carrots (sticks)
1 Courgette/Zucchini (sliced into quarters)
1 Small Yellow Pepper/Capsicum (chunks)
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
2 Handfuls Broccoli Florets
3-4 Handfuls Pasta Twirls
Water


Getting Started on Chef Jeenas Easy Pasta Salmon Food Recipe



First take a pan of hot salted water and add your pasta twirls.



Gently fry the onions in some olive oil for a minute or two.




Add the carrots to the onions and keep cooking until the carrots and onions begin to soften.



Add the zucchini/courgette and yellow peppers.



Place the broccoli florets into the top of your pan cooking the pasta twirls.

Do not stir the broccoli into the pasta, just let the florets sit on top of the pasta.

Cook your broccoli like this for a few minutes, so they just begin to soften.


Do not over cook broccoli it cooks very quickly.



The vegetables should be cooked by now.



Place the tinned salmon into a bowl. Add the freshly cooked pasta twirls, cooked vegetables and cooked broccoli.
