Fast-forward nine months and we've got The Finder, the new spin-off show that premieres on Fox tonight. TV is no stranger to spin-off shows; some go on to achieve their own successes, while others fail to live up to the promise of the original series. Why think of a brand new idea when you can just spin off of an already successful TV show?
Tonight's DVR Watch: Bones apparently held their winter finale until now, which is weird, but but we'll watch it anyway because Booth and Brennan are searching for a home for their new family (Fox, 8pm), 30 Rock is BAAAAAACK! (NBC, 8pm), The Big Bang Theory has Sheldon and Amy at odds (CBS, 8pm), Parks and Recreation has Ben exploring a weird new hobby (hint: it involves clay) (NBC, 8:30pm), Rob Schneider's new show Rob premieres and it's terrible so if you choose to watch it don't say we didn't warn you (CBS, 8:30pm), The Finder premieres and immediately starts — you guessed it! — finding stuff (Fox, 9pm), The Office has Oscar joining a trivia night (NBC, 9pm), and Up All Night gets comfy in its brand new Thursday night time slot (NBC, 9:30pm).
