If a splurge at Tiffany's isn't in your budget this Valentine's Day you can still gift a classic accessory made with love by you! keep it simple and pair a crisp new suit shirt with a pair of cufflinks, for a do it yourself gift that doesn't get any sweeter.


What you'll need:
2 shank buttons
2 toggle clasps
1 jump ring
Pliers


Step 1 - Use your pliers to open a jump ring and attach a button.


Step 2 - Attach the part of the toggle clasp shaped like bar to the same jump ring and close tightly. This will create 1 cufflink.


Step 3 - Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create your second cufflink.

Ever since Zara sold out of their burgundy waxed denim jeans Geri and I have been searching for the perfect pair, better yet we found a way to do it ourselves. Update some old jeans you already own with just a few key ingredients.


What you'll need:
Heavy Duty Fabric Wax - Otherwise known as Otter Wax
Hair dryer
Jeans


Step 1 - Lay your pants on a flat work surface. From the bottom of your jeans, rub the wax in even strokes covering the entire surface.


Step 2 - Use your hairdryer to soften wax and smooth out with your fingers to create an even surface and create a waterproofing seal.


Step 3 - Hang your jeans in a cool-dry place for 24 hours to let the wax set.
