0 Easy Garlic Bread Recipe


This recipe tasted so good that I opened the second pizza base and whipped up another garlic bread straight after eating the first!

It tastes fantastic, melt in the mouth garlic and tomatoes on a crispy edged bread!

Here is my quick snack recipe for garlic bread...




Ingredients for quick snack garlic bread recipe..

1 Premade Pizza Base
3 Garlic Cloves (crushed/grated)
1 Tbsp Sunflower Margarine
Pinch Dried Basil
Pinch Salt
Water


Getting started on Jeenas quick snack garlic pizza bread recipe..


First feel the texture of your premade pizza base, if it is dry they run cold water over the top of it by running it under the tap.

Place onto a pizza tray with holes.



Mix together the garlic, basil and margarine.



Rub the butter all over the pizza base.




Top with sliced tomatoes, sprinkle with salt.

Place into a hot oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.



Now your delicious quick garlic bread is ready, slice and serve.

0 Saturday Kitchen Recipe - Vegetable Soya Rice


This weeks Saturday kitchen recipe is a really easy recipe to cook.

It is packed with flavour, very healthy and extremely filling, perfect for a hungry tummy at dinner time.




Ingredients for Saturday Kitchen Vegetable Soya Rice Recipe
1/2 Cup Plain Soya Mince
1 Red Pepper/Capsicum (chunks)
1/2 Leek (washed,chopped)
1/2 Cup Basmati Rice (rinsed thouroughly)
1 Small Onion (diced)
1 Large Carrot (chunks)
1 Chicken Stock Cube
Water
Black Pepper
Olive Oil

Getting started on Jeenas Saturday Kitchen Soya Rice Recipe


Gently fry your onion and leek until soft and golden.



Add the red pepper and rice, stir well then cover with hot water and bring to the boil, simmer.

Cook for 5-10 minutes.



Add the carrots celery and stock cube.

Add a little more water if it gets too dry, you want a thick rice dish at when the recipe is cooked so do not add too much water.



Once the rice is almost cooked add the soya mince and mushrooms.



Sprinkle in some black pepper.




Your soya rice recipe is now ready to serve.

0 Blueberry Muffin Recipe


When I was on my dear friend Ritas food blog, I came across this "blueberry muffin recipe" and knew I had to bake it, I love blueberries and this recipe was absolutley amazing.

These muffins were soft, fluffy and moist with the jam of the beautiful fresh blueberries ouzing out of the muffins, all I can say Rita is WOW.

Thank you Rita for sharing this recipe as we will be using it everytime we fancy some blueberry muffins.

Rita is a very talented baker and is excellent at baking cakes and desserts and I am sure you will love her excellent recipes.

0 Vegetarian Fennel Stir Fry Recipe

Here is my fennel stir fry recipe!

This really is a simple recipe to cook. The fennel and vegetables are juicy and delicious.

We ate our vegetarian stir fry recipe with some braised tofu, I often eat braised tofu with "vegetable stir fry recipes" they compliment each other so very well, it is a very tasty dish.





Ingredients for Jeenas vegetarian fennel stir fry recipe


2 Large Carrots (sliced)
1 Small Leek (washed chopped)
1 Small Sweet Pointed Red Pepper (sliced)
1 Small Zucchini (sliced)
1/4 Fresh Fennel (sliced)
Salt and Pepper
Olive Oil
1-2 Large Flat Mushrooms (sliced)
Tin Braised Tofu (optional)


Getting started on Jeenas Vegetarian Fennel Stir Fry Recipe..



Gently fry your carrots and leeks in a large frying pan/wok for 5 minutes.


Add the fresh sliced fennel and cook for a few more minutes on a medium/high heat.


Add the red pepper and zucchini cook the stir fry for a little longer.

Add mushrooms with a few small drops of water, keep cooking and stiring.


Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, stir well.



Your easy vegetarian fennel stir fry recipe is ready to eat.



We enjoyed our fennel stir fry recipe with some braised tofu, it was delicious.
